Real business problems live in big contexts. The hardest ones live at the edge of strategy — where the company meets the personal, the cultural, the interpersonal, the paradigmatic. The Coherent Business is a podcast and a practice built around that conviction.

Modern organizations are fragmented — separating purpose from profit, soul from systems, people from performance. The result is companies that are technically efficient and spiritually hollow.
The Coherent Business exists as a different way of working. Each episode wrestles with the questions the strategy frame won't reach: where do virtue and utility actually meet? What does it look like to lead an institution that is whole? Where does the company end and the rest of life begin?
This is a conversation for leaders who already sense that something is missing — and are willing to think seriously about what it might be.
Aram is an executive advisor working with founders and CEOs of 20–200 person companies whose hardest problems can't be answered inside the strategy frame. He has 20+ years building companies across two continents — luxury real estate in Nairobi, agribusiness in East Africa, advisory work with growth-stage U.S. companies. Bachelor's in Psychology, Master of Divinity, MBA from Thunderbird. Two failed businesses are among his better teachers.
The Coherent Business is the home that everything else extends from — the practice, the podcast, the voyages he leads at Passage and Periplus, the books he's writing.
